You must register with one of our staff for a library card. Cards are issued for immediate use and may be used the same day they are issued. Those patrons that are 18 and under will need to have a parent or legal guardian complete a permission slip for computer access. Please notify the library if you card is lost or stolen so that we can prevent others from using your card.

Yes, you may use you Coloma library card at these Winnefox Library System member libraries: Berlin, Brandon, Campbellsport, Endeavor, Green Lake, Hancock, Kingston, Markesan, Menasha, Montello, Neenah, North Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Omro, Oshkosh, Oxford, Packwaukee, Pine River, Plainfield, Poy Sippi, Princeton, Redgranite, Ripon, Wautoma, Westfield, Wild Rose, and Winneconne.

Yes, you may return your library materials to any of the libraries listed as belonging to the Winnefox Library System (see above).

You may have up to 50 items checked out on your library card at one time. When asked we usually recommend what you can read or listen to in two weeks or watch in a week is a good place to start.

Books, audio books, and playaways: 14 days
Magazines: 7 days
Music CD’s: 7 days
Movies: 7 days

These items may be renewed once, unless there are other requests for the item.

Interlibrary loans: Date set by lending library may or may not be renewed

You can place a hold while at the library or while using the library’s online catalog (accessible online at Winnifox Library System OR at any online terminal in the library.) To place a hold on an item when using the library’s web catalog, click on the words “Place Hold”. After doing this, a login screen will appear. You will need to type in the entire number from the back of your library card under the words Library Card Number. DO NOT TYPE IN SPACES OR DASHES IN YOUR LIBRARY CARD NUMBER! Next to your library card number, type in your PIN number. Your PIN number is usually the last four digits of your phone number. Then click on Login. A Place Hold(s) screen will appear. Please check to see that Coloma is the pickup location. If this is correct, please click on Place Hold(s) (Note: If you get a message saying your attempt has been unsuccessful, please check to make sure you typed in the correct card number and  pin. If you’ve typed in the correct numbers, but are still getting an unsuccessful message, you may not have a incorrect PIN number. You can contact the library at 715-228-2530 to verify you pin number or set one up.) You will receive a notice bu email or phone when the item arrives at the library for you.

Yes! It is easier and faster to renew your item through the online catalog. Simply go to Your Account. You will need to type in your Library Card Number and your PIN number (the last four digits of your phone number.) Click in the empty box next to the title of the item you would like to renew. A check mark should appear. Now click Renew Items. If your item is renewable, your item should be renewed (always double check.) If you still have a question contact the librarian.

Yes, the library has a copy machine and a fax machine. The expected donation for photocopies, recieved faxes, and comptuer printing is 10¢ per page. To send a fax is 50¢ for the first 2 pages 10¢ per page there after. Please keep in mind that there are copyright laws that may prevent you from copying certain materials.

Yes, the library carries certain State and Federal tax forms during the tax season. Please keep in mind that the library orders tax forms for government agencies, and that we may run out or might not be able to fulfill your need immediately. Your best bet is to call the library ahead of time to see if we have the form you are looking for. We can search for and print up to two forms free of charge.

There is a meeting room in the Anna Follett Memorial Center, which needs to be reserved through the Village of Coloma office. Just call 715.228.2871
