Well, what a great Chicken Chew weekend that was. We had a great book sale, thanks to all who helped and all who bought. We had one of the best sales yet!

Our community is in the midst of celebrating it's 150th birthday. The list of activities can be found here at the library. Chicken Chew weekend is fast approaching and things are beginning to hum. The library Book Sale is Saturday, opening at 8am. We will also have some furniture for sale.
If you haven't been by lately stop in, there are many changes. We have decorations up for the Summer Reading Program in the childrens' section and for the teens and adults near the reading table and we have some new corrals set up so we can move all of our computers so they are all in one area. There will be more changes to come.
Many times I've had people ask if we have a specific repair manual and inevitably we wouldn't. Well, that has all changed, (and no we didn't get them donated) instead we have a far greater resource, an online manual that has descriptions and digrams for vehicle that are dated back to 1954. The diagrams and descriptions are just like the books themselves, and they are all printable. Don't have a printer? Need help?? Just let us know and we can always lend a hand.
